Svelte is a modern JavaScript framework that compiles components into highly optimised vanilla JavaScript at build time, resulting in faster page loads and smaller bundle sizes. SvelteKit extends Svelte with routing, SSR, and full-stack capabilities. I used Svelte and Tailwind CSS extensively during my internship at Skywalker Technology to build reusable UI components for a Web3-based platform.
React is a popular JavaScript library for building user interfaces through reusable components. Its virtual DOM and declarative approach make it efficient for developing dynamic, interactive web applications. React pairs well with TypeScript for type-safe, scalable front-end development and is one of the core technologies in my current skill set.
Bootstrap is a popular open-source CSS framework that helps developers create responsive, mobile-first websites quickly and easily. It provides a set of pre-designed components, such as buttons, forms, and navigation menus, that can be customized to fit the needs of a particular project. Bootstrap also includes a responsive grid system that allows developers to create layouts that adjust to the size of the device they are being viewed on.
Laravel is a free, open-source PHP web application framework. It is designed to make the development of web applications more efficient and easy to maintain. Laravel provides a set of tools and features that allow developers to write clean and organized code, including routing, middleware, and an object-relational mapper (ORM). It also has a built-in command-line interface (CLI) called Artisan that can be used to generate code and perform other common tasks.
Vue.js is a progressive JavaScript framework for building user interfaces. It is similar to other popular frameworks like React and Angular, but it is often considered more lightweight and easy to learn. Vue.js uses a template-based syntax and provides a set of directives that can be used to bind data and events to the DOM. It also has a powerful set of tools for building complex applications, including a centralized store for managing state and a set of directives for handling forms and other input elements.
Tailwind CSS is a utility-first CSS framework that can be used to quickly create custom user interfaces. It provides a set of low-level utility classes that can be composed to create complex designs. Instead of providing pre-designed components like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS gives you the freedom to create your own unique designs. It also provides a set of responsive design classes to help make your website look great on any device.
